Farm school and taking dominion

You know, it's tough to blog when you get out of habit. And really, since we've moved here to Providence Acres we've had a lot of thing we could share, but we're so busy "doing" we often forget to stop and realize that we could document our moments.
I am purposing to do a better job of this and share some of what goes on around here. I know, I know, I've said that before, but this time I'm really going to do it!
:)

I'll take some new photos of the homestead, the new life growing here, the children, and the updates.
Let me look in the photo album and see what I might have to share today.

I'll title these with what we call Farm School. This is where life on the homestead is the teacher for the very real life (and sometimes death) situations we can face when we raise livestock.

This Farm School activity is simply using the land God created, and gave us, to practice our dominion skills!

Taking care of the animals that God gave us dominion over.
Every little girl can practice nurturing with the skirt of her dress when you have chicks that like to stay warm!

Taking care of the land God gave us dominion over.

And learning about the various animals on our property.
All this contributes to our home education and helps the children think about what God created for them to enjoy and have dominion over.

Blessings!
